From $950 per workflow · One-time · Fixed written quote

The weekly chores your team does by hand, built into workflows you own.

Forms, approvals, ticket automation and AI-assisted triage, built in Rewst or n8n with error handling, retries and alerts. I document it, hand it over and you keep it.

One path through the workflow yes no alert

The problem.

  • Most IT and operations teams I meet have one process that eats a day a week and lives in one person's head.

  • Automations without error handling fail quietly. The first sign is usually a user asking why nothing happened.

  • The platform is the easy part. The hard part is knowing your PSA, your tenant and the platform well enough to connect them without breaking something.

  • I built an n8n agent for a help desk that reads a shared mailbox every minute, checks a vector database of the team's scripts, and writes its answer back into the ticket. That is the kind of build this page sells.

What I do.

Scope the process.

A one-hour session to map the process as it runs today, the trigger, the systems involved (Microsoft 365, a PSA such as ConnectWise, Autotask or HaloPSA, an RMM such as NinjaOne or Datto, forms, Teams), the approvals and the exceptions.

Write the spec.

Trigger, steps, decisions, error paths, notifications, who approves, what gets logged. You sign off before I build.

Build it.

Rewst for MSPs and teams with PSA and RMM integrations. n8n for everyone else, on your own server or in n8n's cloud. Every workflow gets input validation, retries, a failure alert to a Teams channel or a ticket, and steps that can safely run twice.

Add AI where it helps.

Ticket classification, summaries, document extraction. Each AI step has a documented prompt, guardrails, and a human review step before any write action.

Test and hand over.

Test with real data in a sandbox, go live with monitoring, then a diagram, a runbook, a credentials inventory stored in your vault, and a recorded walkthrough.

What you get.

  • A written spec you approve before the build.
  • The workflow, with error handling, retries and failure alerts.
  • Documentation, a diagram and a recorded walkthrough. You own the workflow and the platform account.
  • A 30-day fix window after go-live.

Questions.

Rewst or n8n?

Rewst if you are an MSP or already run a PSA and RMM, because its integrations and crates save weeks. n8n for everything else. It runs on your own server or in n8n's cloud and connects to almost anything with an API.

Will the AI step act on its own?

No. AI steps classify, summarize or extract, and a person approves before anything is written to a ticket, a tenant or a payment system, unless your spec says otherwise. The prompt and the guardrails are documented and the logs are kept.

What happens when it breaks?

It tells you. Failures alert a channel or open a ticket. Inside the 30-day window I fix it. After that, the retainer or the hourly rate covers it.

Do we need our own Rewst or n8n subscription?

Yes. The vendor bills it and you own the account. I will tell you which tier you need, and it is not included in my price.

One hour of scoping produces a spec and a fixed quote within two business days.

Workflows need a person who watches the failed runs. The fractional senior engineer retainer includes that.
